Paint Technicians
When your vehicle’s structure has been repaired and necessary parts have been removed, our Paint Technicians find the right colour to match your original paint, prime the parts and vehicle body, and then paint them.
After your car parts and body have been painted and dried in the paint booth, your vehicle is returned to the Body Technicians and is put back together. The vehicle is then passed to detailing and is cleaned inside and out before the Production Manager and Appraiser do a final inspection.
Jayson Bagaslao
As a refinisher, Jayson’s knack for picking up new skills comes in handy. Between identifying different substrates, priming, blocking, masking, and cleaning up stalls, he’s always learning something new—and that’s what he loves about Empire. Endlessly curious, Jayson is always asking questions, and while he fears it may annoy his co-workers, they admit that they’re impressed by his dedication.
Shane Buck
This self-professed fussy painter is one of the reasons why vehicles leave Empire looking as good as new. Shane helps prepare and paint vehicles, and he enjoys the challenge of matching colours for the perfect finish. With over 30 years of experience working on cars, Shane’s teammates benefit from his experience and good organizational skills. You might meet Shane the day you get your vehicle back, as he often helps deliver vehicles once they’re finished. His dream car is a ’70 GTO in Corinthian blue.
Greg Purcha
Greg has been an auto body refinisher with Empire, and has become known as the go-to guy when there’s a tricky paint-matching situation. His co-workers call him quiet, but know that he’s very dedicated and confident with his work because he enjoys it so much. Greg’s dream car is a black Lexus.
Chad Roland
Chad loves working on and around cars, so it’s only natural that he found his way to Empire. As a painter and refinisher, Chad uses his keen eye for detail to help put the finishing touches on vehicles after their body work has been done. Chad’s co-workers benefit from his playful personality in times of stress, and describe him as “wicked awesome.”
Tyler Ross
Before he began his career at Empire, cars were Tyler’s hobby and passion. Now as a painter, he prepares and paints vehicles with the expertise and satisfaction of someone doing what they were born to do. Tyler also has experience with metalwork and fabrication. In keeping with his easy-going character, Tyler’s dream car is a 1963 Lincoln Continental Presidential Edition in gloss black.
